One of the best things about the Sonoma Plaza is its ability to be approachably chic. There is no better example of that than El Dorado Kitchen. Located across the street from the girl and the fig, this California style restaurant is housed inside the El Dorado Hotel.

Executive Chef Armando Navarro’s award-winning and locally loved menu is crafted from Sonoma ingredients that change with the season. Soups, salads and fresh oysters are among the offerings for lunch and dinner starters and could include dishes such as the Pork Belly & Scallops, Wagyu Beef Carpaccio or Roasted King Trumpet Mushrooms, giving way to main courses of a selection of meat, poultry and fish options including Petaluma Chicken, their signature EDK Burger or King Salmon. Cafe La Haye Sonoma Plaza RestaurantCafé La Haye
140 East Napa Street, Sonoma, CA 95476
(707) 935-5994

Cafe La Haye has been a Sonoma Plaza cornerstone for years. The small, modern space is inviting with it’s large windows and many mirrors. The tiny, open kitchen is where Chef creates Cal-American gems that are straightforward and seasonally inspired. All though the menu is small, you won’t be disappointed with the options, giving you the best of what Sonoma County has to offer.

A simple menu with top notch ingredients and preparation. “Simple” is not to be confused with easy to prepare or hasty. ‘Passionate’ and ‘intentional’ are watchwords here. The food spans cultural influences including an ever changing risotto dish, locally caught fish of the day and roasted chicken to yuzu citrus cheesecake and butterscotch pudding. The tiny bar pours glasses of Sonoma reds and whites that pair perfectly with the fresh pasta and vegetable dishes that also make the menu.
